Climate Change

About This Project

Children are disproportionately affected by shocks and stresses related to climate change and natural disasters.  According to UNICEF, more than half a billion children live in zones of extremely high flood occurrence.  Nearly 160 million live in areas of high or extremely high drought severity. Many of these are in the world’s poorest countries, which have the least capacity and fewest resources to manage such risks.
